Helpful information for an initial discussion

A concise project outline is enough to begin.

  • Markets and asset classes in scope;
  • Current operating system and runtime environment;
  • Whether a strategy already exists and, if so, its general type, frequency and current operating method;
  • Existing data or trading infrastructure, if any;
  • Interest in a proprietary strategy, commissioned strategy or the system alone;
  • Principal risk or implementation objectives;
  • Preference for an online discussion or an on-site demonstration.

A strategy or data infrastructure is not required before the first conversation.

Do not send through ordinary email

Agree a safe method for sensitive material separately.

  • Source code or notebooks;
  • API keys, tokens, private keys, certificates or account credentials;
  • Model parameters or core strategy rules;
  • Real accounts, positions, orders, fills or P&L;
  • Raw client data;
  • Production logs that have not been sanitised;
  • Protected third-party information.

If such material becomes necessary, purpose, minimum scope, access method, retention and export boundaries will be agreed separately.

Project and commercial boundaries

Scope each engagement according to its actual work.

Standard deployment, proprietary strategy integration, commissioned research, and data or research-infrastructure work involve different effort and depth. Implementation scope, duration and commercial terms are determined from the actual objective.
